Which School is Right for you?
When choosing a school we understand how difficult it can be make the right choice for your child and to even know where to start. Before this choice is made the Nursery will help you with obtain all the information you may need.
The Nursery works in partnership with Early Years and has an assigned Teacher working for Early Years to support our Foundation Curriculum.
Each year we run a session with our assigned teacher for parents on what schools are available for your child in your local area and answer any questions you may have regarding this subject.

Preparing For School
We understand how difficult some children find the transition from pre-school to school and we aim to make this transition as positive, smooth and comfortable for both child and parent as possible.

Once your child has been registered with a school we will liaise closely with them during transition. During this time we will work with your child by taking them on visits with friends to their new school for play sessions. We also encourage their new teacher to come and visit your child at nursery so they can be confident with the new face in their secure learning environment.

At the end of the summer we will hold a party inviting both parents and teachers where we celebrate our schools starters’ progress and achievements as they prepare themselves for the exciting new challenge of school.
