Made of Money

Made of Money is a family learning project focusing on money matters, improving communication and reducing stress about money within families.

The Made of Money course can be delivered to groups or through one to one contact. It is a fun and interactive course and includes a family session, where children and parents can learn together.

Topics covered are as follows:

• Budgeting, saving, and household finances

• Passing positive money values onto children

• Introducing children to money matters in fun and practical ways

• Dealing with stress related to family finances

• How to communicate positively within the family about money worries, responsibilities and aspirations

• Teaching children and young people how to interpret advertising

• Exploring consumerism and the different pressures this can put on us as individuals and families

• Exploring credit options and raising debt awareness
