Service User Involvement Worker
The Service User Involvement Worker aims to reach all of our customers across all of our services at The Roberts Centre to ensure their voice is heard and responded to. User involvement opportunities at the centre include:
- Participating in surveys
- Being involved in recruitment
- Participating in exit interviews
- Reviewing policies and procedures
- Being part of a service user focus group
- Contributing to the planning and running of events and open days
The people who access our services have valuable experience, views and ideas. We believe that our Service Users are in the best position to help us to evaluate our services and identify potential areas for improvement. We feel it is important to listen to customers’ views so we can ensure that we are delivering the best possible services.
Anyone who chooses to take part in user involvement activities will receive relevant training and support to enable them to carry out their role with confidence.
Being involved in service evaluation can lead to other opportunities such as learning new skills, meeting other people, developing confidence and gaining valuable work experience.
The Service User Involvement Worker is an important role and will continue to obtain feedback from all our customers on how we can improve the delivery of all our services and enable Service Users to be involved in making important decisions about our services and how the organisation is run as a whole.
